WWE is officially bringing the spotlight back to Atlantic City.

The company announced Monday that Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown will return to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall on June 29, marking WWE’s first televised events in Atlantic City since 2008.

The announcement reunites WWE with one of the most historic wrestling destinations in the country. Atlantic City famously hosted WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V in 1988 and 1989, helping cement Boardwalk Hall as a legendary venue in sports entertainment history.

Tickets for the televised events go on sale Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster, while an exclusive presale begins Thursday, May 14 at 10 a.m. ET.

WWE partnered with Visit Atlantic City, the Atlantic City Sports Commission, and Oak View Group to bring the events back to the iconic Boardwalk venue.

“WWE’s return to Atlantic City marks another exciting chapter in our city’s ongoing evolution as a premier entertainment destination,” said Gary Musich, President and CEO of Visit Atlantic City. “Hosting Monday Night Raw at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall underscores our commitment to bringing globally recognized events to the destination.”

Oak View Group General Manager Jim McDonald highlighted the long-standing relationship between WWE and the venue, noting Boardwalk Hall’s history hosting multiple WrestleManias and major WWE events over the decades.

The June return continues WWE’s aggressive live-event push in legacy wrestling markets as the company rides a wave of momentum following record-breaking attendance and media rights growth.
